| Answers: Can you help me with my bedroom? Hey beautiful people, to cut a long story short, my 15 year old brother was playing with fireworks, one got out of way, and landed in my bedroom. (if you've read the pretty little liars series, think jenny/toby & treehouse scenario). EVERYTHING in my room & ( part of the living room) went up in flames, and i lost everything! my whole childhood gone just like that! i am 17, and i think as a 17 year old, it makes it more overdramatic, but at least nobody was hurt right? (my cat did get a little singed, but shes fine, thank the lord for that!) So insurance has covered everything, and my mom is taking me shopping on the weekend for a new bedroom. But i am not sure how to decorate my room. I want it to look like a 16-18 year old room. i need color choices, like a 4 color scheme, or some ideas for themes for this age bracket. I just want a really warm/cosy room, where i can invite my friends over & i need furniture ideas. I don't really think i know my personality yet. i love creative writing, play piano/guitar (can't draw to save my life), love colors, books, dvds, video games, a little introverted, love country/pop & pop/rock music, twilight (lol), i wear black/gray & royal purple colors, royal purple is my favorite color in the world, brown makes me feel safe, warm & comforted, i love photography/filming, zebra print (again lol), elephants, yeah! i think i just lack interior decorating skills abit, and need some help! I want to achieve a room thats beautiful, warm, great for all seasons, inviting, not really spacious (i like feeling like i'm living in a shoebox kinda thing), plain/sensible (like me), nothing with turquoise (even though its a beautiful color) or with actresses who have long gone (audrey hepburn/marilyn monroe), just simple & to the point. Oh and if you'd like to define my personality by all this, please do so, because i'd love to know haha! |
