| Answers: Where would be a good place for a vampire to live in the U.S? This is just for creative writing. I want some place that a vampire would enjoy, but would not be cliché or obvious. All opinions are welcome, but please do not say Washington State. P.S What kind of house do you think they would live in? |
| Not a cliche choice huh? Well, there isn't much of a choice here as every vampire flick has already featured one or two US states. There are vampires in Alaska (or was it North Pole in 30 Days of Nights), there are vampires in cities like that of Vampire Diaries and the Twilight series. I could think of one place that you won't regularly see a vampire, the dessert. How about considering the Grand Canyon as a set up. |
| This is funny. I think vampires nowadays would pick up living in the rural areas mingling with normal people, inviting them in their home and them suck their blood out. But kidding aside, I do not think vampire would choose to live in a place as crowdy as the metropolis. I think grand canyon would be fantastic. Anyway, just think of the places with less people and a little quiet. |

| What kind of house would vampires live in? Well, most vampire movies I've seen feature houses that are big, dark and looks abandoned and creepy. Maybe to make your creative writing different, you can set your vampires in a house that is not dark and creepy, but one that is modern and very inviting to visitors. |
| Anywhere where there's a cemetery or a haunted house is okay for your vampire to live in the U.S. You can choose an eerie sub-urban place or a province or a quiet town where people refuse to go out at night for fear of running into vampires like the character in your story. Though I'm also into creative writing, I don't want to write about vampires because they would stay in my mind long before I have finished writing the story. |
