| All good advice but one thing I'm not sure about joining a peer group. Why would I take my writing to get advice on how to improve it to other writers? Why not let my friends, family or complete strangers take a look at my writing and give me their feedback? As a novelist, I'm trying to impress the average person and not people who attend a peer group who think they are above the common Joe in the first place. |

| I am not a creative writer. I think I'm more of a technical writer or one who likes to write things that are informational. I actually discovered this thing in me when I got some courage to start my blog and write stuff. From there, I am learning more to improve my craft. |
