| Answers: How do I count beats in rap? I'm currently remixing songs at my church, but I'd like to do original material to hopefully go further. I've been listening to instrumentals that repeat over and over without any distinction between verses and choruses. I'm wondering how I count those beats in order to write bars over them. Right now, I'm just counting two bars every time the beat repeats. How can become more effective at this technique to become a better rapper? |
